Here’s a second acoustic exclusive from Renee Yohe and her band BEARCAT for their track Saudade. Seriously guys, this one has been stuck in my head for like a century… ok fine, since we shot this last week. We love Renee’s style and amazing voice. Check out this video and stay tuned for a fun interview with the band coming next week. -amanda

LIPS OF AN AUSSIE
Regardless of the price, the quality and the brand; lipsticks always dry our lips out. Which is why, when I am given a choice I always pick lipsticks that are known to be moisturising and always prep my dry, chapped lips with lip exfoliation and lip balm prior to lip stick application.
From left: #Malibu Barbie, #Forbidden Fruit, #Pink Champagne (all new shades)
Face of Australia released 6 new shades to their existing Lip Quench Moisturising Lipstick SPF30+ (existing 8 shades). These lipsticks moisturises lips with natural emollients like Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E & Shea Butter. Not forgetting our lips being one of the most vulnerable area to sun damages, these Face of Australia Lip Quench SPF30+ also provides broad spectrum sun protection.
Consistency for these lipsticks are creamy and very smooth to apply!!!

Hourglass: Script Precision Liquid Liner!

Why I love it:
- Vegan friendly, gluten free, sulfrate free
- The liner brush is super fine (one of the finest I have tried) – 0.5mm micro fine we are talking about
- Even if you’re a veteran liner or newbie liner, this liner is super easy to control and to work with
- Suitable to draw from really thin subtle lines to dramatic lines (you do have to be patient to fill in the gaps for dramatic lines as the brush is very fine)
- Longwearing, dries rapidly
- Overall, if you’re into subtle liner for your day-to-day look, I would recommend this but if you’re into super thick and dramatic lines, you’re better off with a thicker head liner (eg. felt tip).
I did have a tiny incident with this liner smearing and transferring everywhere, in other words disaster town once. But I can’t blame the liquid liner for the disaster as I had accidentally pop silicone face primer on my lids which resulted in EVERYTHING sliding off from eye shadow, liner to mascara. Lesson learnt and no more silicone based primer anywhere near the lids!
Cheers to the New Year

I have never been the one to be too into the whole “Lets celebrate this new year” and “lets hope this new year is grand!” tradition of welcoming in the upcoming year but this year was different. And not just because i didn’t go to a party for new years. this past year, well more like these past couple months have been life-changers for me, and really have opened my eyes to new and better ways of living. So it, now being a new year, I do want to embrace this new year with the resolutions to continue into this new path. And have nothing stop my on my way.
Oh that, and, i promise to upload something on my professional blog, this blog, EVERYDAY!!!!!!
